DESCRIPTION - The Hutchison Medical Model 1000HC Patient Weight Scale is compatible with the following lifts: the Human Care Model Roomers S and the Model Altair patient lifts.

PATENT PENDING - A patent application for our “METHOD FOR WEIGHING A IMMOBLE PATIENT WHILE BEING TRANSFERRED WITH PATIENT LIFT” has been filed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), giving our 1000HC patient weight scale 'patent pending' status effective March 10, 2026.  Any patent infringement will be vigorously pursued.

ADDED LENGTH

When attached, the 1000HC adds about 8.0" of length to your existing Hoyer lift setup.  This means that you will have up 8.0" less lifting height. 

INFO - The 1000HC is designed for weighing bed-ridden or non-ambulatory patients.  The 1000HC is operated by three (3) AAA batteries (included).  DOES NOT INCLUDE A HUMAN CARE-STYLE PATIENT LIFT OR SLING.

WARRANTY - Hutchison Medical offers a one (1) year limited warranty on the1000HC.  This product is warranted to be free of defects in workmanship and product performance.  This warranty is extended only to the original purchaser/user and is therefore non transferable.

ADDITIONAL SHIPPING COST - Additional shipping cost to Alaska, Hawaii, US APO/FPO, US Protectorates.  

RETURN POLICY - At Hutchison Medical, our goal is to ensure that you always select the right product for your needs.  However, you may occasionally receive a product that does not work for you.  If you need to return an item, please review our Return Policy below and submit an online Return Authorization Request.

This product requires a 15% restocking fee for returns.  Customer must pay for return shipping.  All products must be in their original packaging and meet the following conditions:

• Product must be in new condition.  For example, no cracks, scratches, dirty or marked tires, or any indications of usage.
• Product must be returned in its original packaging.
• A Return Merchandise Authorization must be requested from Hutchison Medical within 30 days of delivery of the product.
• Once an RMA has been received, products must be returned within 14 days.
