Patient Weight Scale for Hoyer-Style Patient Lifts

DESCRIPTION - The Hutchison Medical Model 1000HL Patient Weight Scale for most Hoyer-style patient lifts. 

A patent application for our “METHOD FOR WEIGHING A IMMOBLE PATIENT WHILE BEING TRANSFERRED WITH PATIENT LIFT” has been filed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), giving our 1000HL patient weight scale 'patent pending' status effective March 10, 2026.  Any patent infringement will be vigorously pursued.

The 1000HL is compatible with the following lifts that have a 1" attachment rod on the speader bar: Hoyer, Invacare, Drive Medical, Lumex, Bestcare, Medline, Molift, and Handicare.

HOW IT ATTACHES - The 1000HL Patient Weight Scale is specially designed to be installed between the boom of a Hoyer lift and the spreader bar.  The 1000HL attaches easily, making it suitable for hospitals, rehab centers, nursing facilities, and home care.  With a clear digital display and simple controls, it delivers quick, accurate readings to support better monitoring of patient health, medication dosing, and overall care planning.  Removal and placement of one bolt is necessary.

INFO - The 1000HL is designed for weighing bed-ridden or non-ambulatory patients; the 1000HL is NOT compatible with any sit-to-stand or stand-assist lifts where the patient is bearing weight on their legs.  The 1000HL is operated by three (3) AAA batteries (not included).  DOES NOT INCLUDE A HOYER-STYLE PATIENT LIFT OR SLING.

WARRANTY - Hutchison Medical offers a one (1) year limited warranty on the1000HL.  This product is warranted to be free of defects in workmanship and product performance.  This warranty is extended only to the original purchaser/user and is therefore non transferable.

RETURN POLICY - At Hutchison Medical, our goal is to ensure that you always select the right product for your needs.  However, you may occasionally receive a product that does not work for you.  If you need to return an item, please review our Return Policy below and submit an online Return Authorization Request.

This product requires a 15% restocking fee for returns.  Customer must pay for return shipping.  All products must be in their original packaging and meet the following conditions:

• Product must be in new condition.  For example, no cracks, scratches, dirty or marked tires, or any indications of usage.
• Product must be returned in its original packaging.
• A Return Merchandise Authorization must be requested from Hutchison Medical within 30 days of delivery of the product.
• Once an RMA has been received, products must be returned within 14 days.
