HOW DOES THE KWIKtest JAUNDICE TEST WORK?
It works by first applying the KWIKtest Gel-Free Liner to the inside of the diaper. This KWIKtest Liner has a soft surface, making it comfortable for the baby to wear. Testing can be performed and results obtained immediately after urination and up to 4 hours* after urination allowing no interruption to diaper changing routines. Simply press the colored pad on the KWIKtest Stick onto the wet area of the KWIKtest Gel-Free Liner for just a few seconds to allow the colored pad to adequately absorb the urine. After adequate absorption, compare the colored pad on the KWIKtest Stick to the color chart on the ziplock Stick bag for easy interpretation. This makes it easy to see if the baby has jaundice, even if there are only small amounts of bilirubin present.
